Weizmann Institute of Science

The Weizman institute is a research institute in the natural and exact sciences. Its “Department for Science Education” studies education and develops educational programs, constituting a central part of the professional development of math and science teaching in Israel. The department runs 3 national teachers’ centers: the Center for Chemistry Teachers, the National Center for Middle School Science and Technology and the National Center for Physics Teachers—the latter playing an important role in the professional training of physics teachers in Israel.
