Sakhnin Municipality

Sakhnin is a small city in the lower Galilee with a population of 29,000. The city’s Arab population is comprised of a Muslim majority and a large Christian minority. The city has two public high schools owned by the municipality with a total of 1,500 students. In 2013, 63.6% of 12th grade students were eligible for matriculation. Sakhnin also has a prestigious private high school, attended mostly by non-residents.
