Herzeliya Municipality

Herzliya is a coast city in the southern Sharon, 10 km north of Tel Aviv. Herzliya was founded in 1924 as a farming community, named after the Zionist visionary Theodor Herzl. The education system in Herzliya is ranked second place countrywide in terms of investment and first in terms of matriculation and Meitzav exam scores. The city also has a branch of the Hila program—dedicated to providing complementary education for school-excluded youth.
