The Szold Institute

The Szold Institue is a public organization dedicated to advancing Israeli society and education. The institute’s activities include a number of initiatives and studies on behalf of government ministries, local authorities, and organizations and funds in Israel and abroad. The institute was established in 1941 by Henrietta Szold, a Zionist activist from the United States who also founded Hadassa Organization and its institutions, as well as the Yishuv’s welfare services and the Youth Aliyah organization. Since its founding, the Szold Institute can claim credit for educational programs, studies and evaluations, which have left their mark on the Israeli society and its education system.
